I will translate pages 3 and 4 to give everyone an idea of what this book is all about.
Goretoy Nikolai Petrovich born 1921, 13th of December in S. Kobylki, Kurskoi oblast.Lost his father when he was 12 years old.
After his arrival from the front 1945 France was baptized in holy spirit and in 1948 was picked for episcopal service. Which he served all his life.
Professionally he was a teacher and an artist, but he was not able to work due to the fact that in CCCP it was not allowed for Christian believers to work in schools. A hundred or so of his biblical paintings were left behind in CCCP, some are scattered in Europe and America. He has also written a lot of hymns and poems.
In 1960 was the first time he was Judged for Gods word. In the accusations: Turned 7 of his children to Christianity and for showing as he is the leader of Christian believer (sekty pyatedisyatnikov) Incarcerated 6 years camp and 5 year prison. After first sitting had stomach ulcers.
Second time of his arrest was in 1979, with the same accusations plus more…
Being at fault before CCCP government for demanding that his family and other Christians alike be allowed to leave CCCP.
Given 8 years in camp and 5 years prison, combined did 14 years.
In year 1987 was released from political movement accusations and after 6 months left the CCCP.
After the second sitting he had heart problems, due to the fact that before his release from the second sitting the prison nurse had poisoned him.
Just as many other Christian people his life was not easy in CCCP. Throughout the KGB investigations Nikolai and his family had to move 25 times. Between Ukraine, Ural, Siberia, Kavkaz, Central Asia and more
Nikolai was blessed with 11 children, his wife Barbara Nikolayevna alive to this day in America. All children and grandchildren are scattered around the United States and Canada.
By all means my grandfather doesn’t deserve all of the credit for doing these great things in the name of Jesus Christ. There are alot of names worth mentioning (by the thousands and even millions of people had a part in this) Ivan Voronayev - started the Pentecostal movement in the South of the Ukraine.*
